CREATIVE DIRECTION + StRategy, PODCAST PRODUCTION

At the beginning of the pandemic, our team shifted into a posture of carefully crafting a consistent experience to engage our participants. As Team World Vision, the fastest growing endurance charity in the country, we thrive off of community, where people of all walks of life come together and train for marathons and half marathons for clean water around the world. We ideated and planned a strategy for going “Beyong the Walls” of our homes. This was expressed in a weekly podcast, which we created, from start to finish. I worked to craft the content from week to week, coordinating all voices and participants, sound design and mixing, editing, music integration, all the way to final production and distribution. It yielded some amazing results!

DIRECT MAIL + EDITORIAL DESIGN

To support our podcast, we also sent out an impact report to our participants, reflecting all of the impact made amid a global pandemic. This was in newspaper format and spotlighted multiple stories of transformation and tangible impact made. We entitled this piece “The Year of Pamoja.” “Pamoja” is a Swahili word that means "together". We leaned into this meaning and used this to set the tone of the creative direction.
